Ancient Ritual
What began as a simple logo exploration for Ancient Ritual evolved into a five year, full-time role. As Founding Designer and Design Director, I was a core contributor to every aspect of the business: brand, product, campaigns, fundraising, digital experience, showroom, and customer experience. I was heavily involved in the conceptualization of the company, and helped shape the brand's design language from the ground-up. As the company grew, I served as the nexus for all things design, weaving together every visual and experiential touchpoint.
I am co-inventor of Ancient Ritual's flagship product, Arc– an experiential infrared sauna designed to live inside the home. Arc combines heat, light, sound (breathwork, meditation, and music) into an immersive experience to disconnect from the modern world.
I helped spearhead every aspect of its development, from initial conceptualization through final production. Working closely with founders, engineers, and manufacturing partners, I established the design direction, selected materials, refined functionality, and was on the ground putting the product through extensive testing and iteration. This meticulous attention to detail resulted in a revolutionary wellness device that seamlessly blended form and function.
Future Training
I collaborated closely with the Future team to evolve their website, visual identity, and brand positioning. I developed a new design system that includes typography, art direction, color treatment, and a mobile-first approach. This update has performed positively, with users reporting a deeper understanding of the product and in turn, an increase in conversion rate.
